About Me

San Francisco has been my home for the last thirteen years where I live with my husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. My family has recently decided to relocate from SF to Southern California.

For as long as I can remember, photography has been a source of self-expression. My formal study of photography in art school opened my mind to the ways that this medium speaks by employing light, creativity and technology. For eight of these ‘recent’ years, I have been a teacher of traditional black and white photography as well as instructor of digital photography for the student produced yearbook publication at Katherine Delmar Burke School. I photograph weddings, family portraits and events with the objective to flatter by depicting the natural beauty of the subjects. No statement or description can articulate history better than a picture can. A picture offers the visual record of a special day and time in your life that can be shared for generations. I find joy in capturing images that express the memory, humor and joy of the occasion.
